Norman & Nancy Witek
Camp Directors
Norm has been directing summer running camps since 1972 and served as Brevard College’s Cross-Country & Track Coach from 1967 to 1986, where he led five consecutive NJCAA Championship teams. A three-time National Coach of the Year, he is honored in the NJCAA Hall of Fame, Brevard College Hall of Fame, and Lyons Township High School Hall of Fame. He is also Professor Emeritus of Exercise Science at Brevard College. Norm holds a BS and MS in Education from the University of Tennessee and is a proud father of four amazing children.
Nancy is a licensed real estate agent, a proud mother of four wonderful children, and leads the administrative team. She holds a BA in Education from Wesleyan College.

Dave & Sue Rinker
Camp Directors
Dave and Sue have been instrumental in the development of the camp. With over 30 years of experience, Dave has served as a summer camp director and was previously the Cross-Country and Track & Field Coach at Brevard College from 1984 to 1999. He has earned the title of NJCAA Coach of the Year three times and is honored in both the NJCAA and Brevard College Halls of Fame. Additionally, he has held the position of head Country Coach at James Madison University, where he earned his Bachelor's degree.
Sue is the former Head Cross Country and Track & Field Coach at Spotswood High School in Virginia and is a USATF Level II Certified Endurance Coach. She also acts as the on-campus director for the administrative team. Sue obtained her Bachelor's degree from Virginia Tech.
